Bob Wright

Biographic Information

Bob Wright, an internationally recognized author, speaker, educator and visionary, co-founded the Wright Institute for Lifelong Learning to teach people to develop their vision and fulfill their dreams.

The author of Beyond Time Management: Business with Purpose, and People Skills, Wright has spent over twenty years training, coaching and consulting with businesses from small entrepreneurial start-ups to Fortune 100’s. He also trains and coaches national and international business leaders on business success, personal development, corporate growth, change and effectiveness. Known for his Integrative Comprehensive Model of Human Development, Bob has been recognized with his other works around the globe. Bob is very “mediagenic” and has appeared on numerous radio and television programs.

Bob believes in helping people get the most out of every minute of their lives. His compassionate, results-oriented style comes from years of travel, study, and life experiences. Working on the railroad, in a bakery, and studying abroad where he became fluent in German and French have added to his deep sense of understanding and belonging to humanity.

Leading his highly acclaimed personal growth and managed care firm from 1979 to 1994 gave him a deep understanding of all aspects of business from selling to managing and career development.

Bob’s studies of the human condition and developing human potential have caused him to seek widely for insight and ways to help people live to their fullest. His consumer-oriented approach led him to find out what consumers of personal development programs want and, as a result, he developed the internationally recognized Comprehensive Development Model of human development.

Bob has founded and co-founded several grass roots regional organizations focusing on human potential and environmental issues including: the Men’s Guild, a father’s program, and an environmental action organization called Be Heard.

With his wife, Bob founded a training and conference center in Wisconsin to provide a place for growth and healing for people as well as a wildlife sanctuary. He and Judith also lead a Couples Empowerment Program that inspires and teaches couples how to live their lives with shared purpose and spirit.

His own character and leadership come alive in his deep caring, his commitment, his ability to see where a problem might be and to inspire hope where one has none. Bob engages all who meet him, from valet parkers to CEOs of international firms. As a student of the world, Bob has studied world religions as well as taken his own deep internal journey into spirit.

Bob received masters degrees from the University of Illinois and Governor’s State University.
